As previously announced, this year, our packages from California will be arriving in one, larger delivery of packages instead of two deliveries a week apart.
Here's the part that changed since last update:
There’s good news and bad news.
Change in Plans: Bad news first: temps were too cold to mark the queens, so the packages will have unmarked queens.
It would have been detrimental to the bees to break the cluster to mark the queens, so the best course was to forego marking.
Pickup Days and Times: Good news: despite snow and sleet and one harrowing detour, we will be open for package pickup as follows:
Wednesday 4/20 Noon – 7pm
Thursday 4/21 10am – 7pm
Please do your best to pick up your bees Wednesday or Thursday.
We may post some time for Friday, and will return to our regular hours Saturday (10am-2pm).
